When it comes to medical cannabis, Israel is among the leaders in both research and regulation.

In contrast to other pharmaceutical companies, Kanabo Research focuses on less known and popular cannabinoids present in the marijuana plant, like CBN (cannabinol). They try to increase the level of minor cannabinoids in their extracts, while still using all the benefits of THC and CBD.

Students in Israel now have a great opportunity to study medical cannabis at Ariel University. This first-ever program on the medical benefits of marijuana has been recently approved by Israel's Council for Higher Education.

Currently, the company works on seven different vaporization formulations. Five products are still under development and the two other formulations are patent-pending.

As for Kanabo's VapePod, the company tries to certify the vaporizer as a medical device. The main feature of this vaporizer is its ability to deliver precise and consistent doses of cannabis. The device activates when the user makes the first inhalation and keeps vibrating until the needed dosage of the extract is delivered.

The company wants to sell their products not only in Israel but also in Europe and in the US. Then, the company will start working on getting approval from European regulators and FDA.
